5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the [a]generation of them that seek him, of them that seek thy face, this is Jacob. Selah.
7 [b]Lift up your heads ye gates, and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

- Psalm 24:7 David desireth the building up of the Temple, wherein the glory of God should appear, and under the figure of this Temple, he also prayeth for the spiritual Temple, which is eternal, because of the promise which was made to the Temple, as it is written, Ps. 132:14.
